Triumph – Petrol Tank Throttle Cable Strap Kit
Years ago it was quite common to see the throttle cables ran over the top of the tank, this was done to save time if you broke a throttle cable so it could be replaced without having to remove the tank. You will see our 1957 TR6 “Desert Ace” has 2 cables ones a spare if the other one broke!!

These tank straps can only be used on Triumph tanks with the tank rack holes

What’s included:

• In the kit you get the 2 alloy straps
• 4 bolts
• 4 serrated locking washers

The Straps are supplied in bare metal, so you can decide if you want to fit them as they are or paint them black.

Bikes these will fit:

All 1950’s Triumphs with tank rack holes with single carb or twin carbs. These will fit any 1960’s Triumphs as long as the tank has the tank rack holes but will work best with Twin carbs.
