Desert Sled Alloy Rear Mudguard/Fender

When building a desert sled the idea is to remove all the heavy stock parts and replace them with as many light weight parts as possible!

Something we get asked for a lot is alloy rear mudguards or if your in the states alloy rear fenders. When building our “955” and “502” replicas we used this very nice light weight alloy rear mudguard.

These are a universal fit and come un-drilled. Being Alloy its very easy to cut these to the length you require,

When we have used these mudguards on our bikes we tend to paint the rear of the mudguard black and add white stick on number plate letters. This saves fitting a large standard type rear number plate. (please bear in mind this might not be road legal).

Being an aftermarket mudguard you may need to cut a section out on the left hand side to clear the rear chain
