1978 TRIUMPH T140V –  (SOLD)

Very original bike with only 3753 miles on from brand new.

Only 3 owners from new.

When we originally bought this bike, it had been sitting in a garage unused since 2009.  It was covered over with thick heavy duty blankets and you could see it had been looked after. We then sold it to a good friend of ours who recommissioned the bike and went though everything that needed doing,

Jobs carried out while recommissioning:

• New tyres and tubes “Avon Road Riders”
• New front brake hoses
• New front brake master cylinder
• A full service with all the oils changed
• New silencers
• A full detailed clean taking the bike apart in places to give the bike a proper clean.
• New petrol pipes and taps

Over the summer of 2023 our friend covered over 1000 trouble free miles but has now decided to sell the bike as he wants to start a new project and doesn’t have the space to keep this one.

The bike still has its original Dunlop rims front and rear and both are very bright still, lots of nice original parts all over the bike as you would expect for a bike with such low millage.

A very original bike with low millage. We are unsure if the paintwork is original, the frame has definitely been painted at some stage, but we are uncertain about the tank and mudguards.  If they have been painted, the colour is spot on.

This really is a very clean bike that can be bought and ridden straight away.
