1966 T120 Thruxton Racer
Private Sale
What a great looking bike this is. Built in full Thruxton trim with the with the 1967 tank and fairings this bike really dose look the part. We have the original old log book this bike has never had a frame number from the factory and was registered using the casting number from the frame. It’s on the road and ready to go!
The oil tank and tool box cover have both been scalloped for the carb bell mouths and has the filler cap on the oil tank has been moved and now comes out at the rear to save taking the seat off to check the oil.
This bike has been built right with all the correct parts, the proper Thruxton dropped handlebars rear sets, correct period fearing and tank and seat, it even has the correct front pipes reduced and then bigger. It would be very hard to build another bike like this as the parts are not available any more.
The bike comes with a folder of some of the works and old MOT’S and invoices.
The gear box outer cover is very interesting as it has an early slick shift gear box cover inspection plate. We have never seen this on a Unit Triumph before it’s been done right we think it could have been done as an experimental thing at the factory.
The bike was raced years ago we have some old pictures in the folder. This bike was not a genuine factory racer but it sure has been built like one.
We can arrange worldwide shipping if needed.
