SOLD – 1953 TRIUMPH BLACKBIRD / THUNDERBIRD 

This is a very nice example of the pretty Triumph Blackbird!

In 1953, Triumph painted a limited number of Thunderbirds black for the export market hence the name “BLACKBIRD”.  It was never recorded which bikes left the factory in black so it’s unknown if this is a genuine one but, it could very well have been as it was for the 1953 season.

This is a bike that we have serviced in the past for the previous owner.  It has had new front pipes fitted,  the magneto restored and the SU carb rebuilt, just to name a few of the works we have completed here in the Ace workshop!

It has matching numbers and is ready to ride and be enjoyed for the summer, making this beautiful bike even more appealing!
